Ignite Humanity Angels are small, handmade expressions of love created to uplift the hearts of others.
Each one begins with scrap, reclaimed, or leftover fabric. It is sewn, filled with clean fabric remnants, marked with a heart and a “U,” and shared with no expectation other than creating a moment of connection.
Peak2Peak will begin the Angel Sharing movement by carrying handmade angels across the American West and leaving them in unexpected places for people to find. The larger invitation reaches far beyond our bicycle route. Anyone, anywhere in the world, can make an angel and give love a place to land.

Every Ignite Humanity Angel is handmade with love and intentionally created to be imperfect.
Their stitches may wander. Their wings may not match. Their smiles may be crooked, their shapes may be quirky, and their fabrics may come together in wonderfully unexpected ways. No two angels will ever be exactly alike.
Their imperfections are not flaws. They are part of what makes each angel beautiful.
Just like people, every angel is imperfect, individual, and entirely unique. Each one carries its own personality, its own story, and its own special way of being wonderful.
These angels are designed to be quirky, mismatched, and beautifully hodgepodged. Their differences remind us that beauty is not found in perfection. Beauty is found in individuality, authenticity, and the courage to be exactly who we are.

Some people want to sew one themselves. Some would rather we made it and sent it on. Some have somebody particular in mind. Pick whichever suits you — they all end the same way, with an angel in someone’s hands.
Share One
We leave an angel out in the world on your behalf.
Choose this and JB and Peter carry an angel with them, then leave it somewhere along the route for a complete stranger to come across — a bench, a trailhead, a bike basket, a café windowsill. We photograph where it went and add it to the Angel Billboard, so you can see exactly where yours ended up. If the person who finds it writes to us, we pass their story on to you.

Buy One
We send a handmade angel to your door.
One angel, made by hand, sent to you. Keep it somewhere you will see it on a bad morning, or carry it in a bag until you meet the person who needs it more than you do. Plenty of people order two — one to keep and one to pass on. Because each is sewn from whatever fabric was to hand, we cannot tell you which one you will get, only that nobody else has the same.

Gift One
We send one to someone you name, with a personalized message from you.
Think of someone having a rough time — a friend after bad news, a nurse at the end of a long stretch, a parent who is running on empty. Tell us their address and what you would like to say. We write your message onto a card, pack it with an angel chosen by hand, and send it to them. It arrives as a surprise, from you.

Make One
Sew your own from fabric you already own. It costs nothing.
Download the free kit and make an angel at the kitchen table. You need a scrap of fabric, a needle and about an hour — no machine, no pattern-cutting experience, no shopping trip. Print the TAKE ME HOME tag, leave your angel somewhere it will be found, and someone’s day quietly changes. Schools, sewing circles and youth groups use the kit to make them together.

Send One
Sew a batch and send them to us. We get them where they are needed.
If you enjoy making things, this is the one that goes furthest. Sew a few — on your own, with your children, or with a group — and send them to the Foundation. We pass them on to schools, hospitals, shelters and children’s homes, where a small handmade thing given for no reason does more good than almost anything else we could hand over.

The questionspeople ask us.
Does my angel have to look like yours?
Not at all. The pattern gives you the shape; the fabric, colors, stitching and expression are yours. Mismatched and slightly wonky is the house style.
Where should I leave one?
Somewhere safe, dry and obvious — a bench, a windowsill, a shelf. Not on the ground, not where it becomes litter, and not anywhere it could be mistaken for something left behind by accident.
Can I just hand one to somebody?
Yes, and often that is the better version. Giving one directly to a person who is struggling counts every bit as much as leaving it to be found.
I found an angel. What now?
Keep it. It is yours, with no strings. If you would like to, send us a photo and where you found it, and we will add it to the billboard.
